Links to your music

Postby Old Father Disc » 04 Oct 2006, 23:19

Sorry, this is a musicians and promoters only thread.

I know we've got the "who the hell are you" thread already but it's a bit unwieldy and is also more of a personal thing. I thought it would be cool if we had a thread where people can just add links to their music - stuff that can be listened to for free ideally eg. Myspace pages, free downloads etc.

This can be stuff you actually play yourself or are otherwise involved in promoting. Would be a good way for those of us who don't know some of the newer people on the forum to get an idea what everyone sounds like.

Anything that isn't a link to music will be deleted. I am the law.

Big Joan: www.myspace.com/bigjoan - I play guitar and co-write lyrics and music for this band.
Love, I've stopped loving you since the miners' strike

theres stuff from a few of the different projects i've done all squashed onto the one myspace: www.myspace.com/dcaudio

The tracks/projects on there are:

MMI Soundtrack - A medley of all the songs from a short film soundtrack. Some "film score/orchestral" stuff, some jazzy stuff, some electronic/idm-ish, some "hula" :-)

Everyone's A Sinner - track by Motion Sickness, prog-ish metal/electronic hybrid music

Farmer Jack Medley - Medley of tunes from the recently released ZX Spectrum game Farmer Jack In Harvest Havoc!

Grind Demos 06 - Medley of tracks from a newish project called Final Reminder: classic grindcore (Terrorizer/Repulsion) meets classic heavy metal (Accept, Judas Priest)! Maximum high-speed rocking

Postby Robert Redford... » 09 Oct 2006, 22:44

Hello,

I'm a member of a band called Strap The Button, from Mid-Wales (www.strapthebutton.tk or www.myspace.com/strapthebutton), we play a sort of
experimentally minded progressive music and have a couple of albums available from Good Name for a Racehorse Records in Nottingham (www.myspace.com/goodnameforaracehorse).

But now i'm living in Bristol for University with a good friend and we've decided to start improvising and writing music under the name of Robert Redford for Bedford - there are a few tunes up at http://www.myspace.com/116938999 for those who may like to have a listen. We're hoping to start collaborating with different people, and eventually, in the not too distant future, to start playing a few shows about the place.

Hope you enjoy the Music.
