hi I'm from the prog/indie band clemenza kimble, our bass player has sadly just left and we are looking a replacement, if you are interested in joining please get in touch. we are a hardworking, conceniuos and ambitous band that like to gig alot and get our music heard thoughout the uk. we play all original material and want to get it heard, and have a high turn out to gigs and altough only although only been around for a while have acheived a high level of sucsess. we play prog/indie and infuences include king crimson, gang of 4, joy dirvision, radiohead, the smiths and bob dylon. so if your a strong bass player and interested in joining a sucsessful band with their sights set high please get in touch on the details below.

Hi,
We're looking for a dynamic (quiet/loud!), inventive and open minded drummer.
The band in question is Ygiis Tarachi and we play what we feebly and pretentiously describe as psychedelic, progressive post-rock. We are influenced by the likes of King Crimson, Radiohead, The Mars Volta, Shellac, Herbie Hancock, Miles davis, MMW, Pink Floyd, Captain Beefheart and Frank Zappa.
However we are interested in creating something different and original.
We are desperately looking to develop new material we are currently working on, start gigging again and eventually go back into the studio.

Hi,
Im up for playing with people sometime if I find time. I can play drums and guitar and a bit of programming and stuff, makin noise with anything really. As long as it doesn't sound like anything else!
In fact me and my mate are tryin to start this sigur ros type (actually contradicting myself already, but hey) noisy glitchy thing up, and any bass players up for doing that kind of stuff would be cool.
Work gets in the way pretty much all the time tho.. but I just wanna get playing again.

As for "Musicians Wanted" type matters: I am not a musician, nor do I have a band to populate with them. However, if any of you muthafux are or do, I would dearly love to shred your musical output and recluster it John Oswald-like (aka remix). Previous victims include Team Brick, SJ Esau, Dyslogic, Hunting Lodge and War Against Sleep. Current target: North Sea Navigator.

I am playing on the 7th of febuary at the louisiana and would like to do the percussion improv set again, i need people for this. If the original members can do this, that would be excellent, but this time, it would be nice to have more people still.

ohhh ok, if this is like a christmas list then i want:
a drummist who wont play boring beats and will do stuff that plays off the rythym of the other people, so no 4/4 oasis beats things, and one who wont use toms because i hate them.

i want a bass player who wants to hold everything together in the way that the drummist usually does.

and i want a synth player to go squeeeeeeeeeeeeeeel higher and lower in all the songs.

and maybe someone to make other noises that don't properly exist, loud and nasty things.

and i will play guitar and play with my throat and tongue.
so if anybody wants to join my new idea then get in touch with me, somehow. it will be minute long bastard pop songs, and very fun, and noisey, and i want to play gigs, so yes, please?!

thats kind of what i was getting at by the other noises, you can do anything weird and nasty you want on the laptop. i think id pretty much love that idea.
if youre up for giving it a go then i definately am, so now we have guitar, vox, drummist in brickie, probable synth boyo in rhys, and with laptop noise all i need is a bass player and all my dreams would come true!

so yeah if you want to make some horrible and brutal and confusing noise for these concise little noise pop songs we can work it out?i reckon the songs would probably be quite well worked out and ordered in order to get them to work so short, so yeah, come on board?!

Hey: how frequent is this bandello likely to happen? For some reason I have a desire to be "second bassist" in a band, but, like PE, am not perpetually available. Could do high-up Peter Hookery... also other sundried sundries (NASTANOVICH).

I also have given up the drink, so the Team Brick Band fiasco will never recur. I have such fond memories of co-rhythm sectioning with him; shame I was being such an idiot.

Then again, maybe not (I feel a bit bad for all the bands who need a first bassist) ... my head's playing crazy tricks on me at the mo. It's all this "giving things up" malarky.

ohh i like second bass idea and the bass player spec was gona say peter hook style high end stuff, but i thought i should hide my obsession with being joy division.so it you want to give it a go then yeah, we can work things out, and mess around with instruments and all that stuff, i'm guessing it wont be taht regular as everyone else seems to be in other bands and otehr stuff too, so will be a side project, so yeah we may as well have a go!!!
